Retro Horror Beat-Em-Up, NIGHT SLASHERS, Gets Remade For Modern Platforms

Horror video games are one of the most engaging ways to experience the genre we all know and love. In fact, we here at Macabre Daily even talked about some of the best horror games in history and think it may be time for us to do another version given the wave of great games released since our recording. One of the lost gems of the retro era, Night Slashers is getting a fancy new remake bringing it to modern systems soon!

Much like other retro beat-em-ups, Night Slashers has you going solo or with friends to decimate an army of undead and horrific creatures. The new update comes to us by way of publisher Forever Entertainment. While we don’t know when the game will get released, we do know it will be hitting all major gaming platforms when it does (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store). Check out a more in-depth look at the game on Destructoid’s site, and check out the gameplay trailer below to see how it looks. Hopefully, this means we will get Splatterhouse remastered sometime in the near future…
