Scarlett Johansson In Talks To Take A Trip To 'JURASSIC WORLD' In 2025

She’s got the tools, she’s got the talent, but can Scarlett Johansson take on dinosaurs? News has come our way that Johansson is in talks to not only be in the next installment of the Jurassic World franchise but is also the lead. This makes perfect sense to us.

We were under the imppression that the last Jurassic World film, Jurassic World: Dominion, would be the last of the franchise but a new Jurassic World movie is in the works with a script by David Koepp, now this is major as Koepp adapted the original Michael Crichton's novel for Jurassic Park in 1993. After David Leitch was briefly attached, Gareth Edwards officially signed on as director, and now the project appears to have found its first cast member.

Our friends over at ScreenRant have details that the film is being fast-tracked for a July 2025 release as of now but that can always change. Scarlett Johansson is in talks for a lead role in the movie, as confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter yesterday. If she does indeed sign on to the film, this will be Johansson’s return to a franchise film making. She kicked major booty in Marvel’s AVENGERS franchise as Natasha Romanoff, The Black Widow. In total, Johansson was in eight Marvel films and unlike many of her co-stars, has diversified herself so that she isn’t stuck in Marvel/Disney limbo.

We’re not saying it’s a done deal but, we will bring you more as we find out about Jurassic World 4.
