The New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival Returns This April!

New Jersey doesn’t need help looking scary, but this logo is great.

The New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, New Jersey has played host to several conventions over the years.  This April, it once again hosts the New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival, and like the moss on Jordy Verill, it’s growing…well, it’s always getting bigger and better, but this next one is insane.

There’s even a portal for indie filmmakers.

The guest list, indie films, Q&As, and vendors are always stacked, but this April’s con boasts a “Hocus Pocus” reunion with the film’s heroes Omri Katz, Vanessa Shaw, Jason Marsden, Thora Birch, and Mary Sanderson herself, Kathy Najimy!  There’s also a “Lost Boys” reunion with Jamison Newlander, Chance Michael Corbitt, and “Cry Little Sister” singer, G. Tom Mac!  Celebrating the return of the “Chucky” TV show, Alex Vincent and Christine Elise will be there.  Kane Hodder and his previous directors, Adam Green and Adam Marcus will also be around, possibly to argue over Kane’s best on-screen stunt, until fellow guest (and Jason Voorhees adversary) Lar Park Lincoln points out that it’s the final fight scene they shared in “Friday the 13th part VII: The New Blood.”

There will also be appearances from “Terrifier 2” producer Steve “Uncle Creepy” Barton and friend of the website, Felissa Rose, our favorite M.D.E.  Friday night boasts a VIP red carpet event where you can meet and mingle the stars themselves

Tickets still available!

If that wasn’t enough, for the first time ever, Fangoria is joining a list of sponsors of the con, and they'll have a table for everyone to see what the latest volume of the magazine has in store. Get your tickets and photo ops now, or pay cash the day of the show!  More info can be found on the official website.  Macabre Daily will see you there!
