'ARACHNOPHOBIA' Remake Being Directed By Happy Death Day Filmmaker Christopher Landon

 

It’s been a few years since news broke that James Wan would be producing an Arachnophobia remake and ow today we have learned that a director has been found for the project in Happy Death Day director, Christopher Landon.

THR now reports that Landon is on board to write AND direct the eight-legged, creepy crawler, horror movie.

A horror comedy, Arachnophobia centered on a small town terrorized by a colony of deadly South American spiders accidentally brought into the U.S. Jeff Daniels starred as a doctor who moves his family from the big city for the calm bucolic small-town life with John Goodman playing a know-it-all exterminator. Julian Sands and Harley Jane Kozak were also in the cast.”

James Wan and Michael Clear will produce for Atomic Monster.

Frank Marshall, who directed the 1990 version of Arachnophobia, will executive produce.
