"WATCH THE SKIES" (2025) Is Like An 80s Amblin UFO Movie, And We Love It! (TRAILER)
Sweden has been quietly dropping fantastic genre movies year after year since Y2K. “Let the Right One In,” “Kon-Tiki,” “The Guilty,” “Pusher,” and “The Wave,” just to name a few. 2025 looks to be one of its best with the release of Crazy Pictures, “Watch the Skies.”
From what we’ve seen in the trailer below, it looks like a loving homage to Steven Spielberg’s “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” with a dash of “Stranger Things” to bring a bit of the quirky out.
When nobody believes a young woman’s belief that a UFO abducted her Father, she has no choice but to turn to the local group of sky watching misfits for help.
