DC FANDOME Roundup: BLACK ADAM, THE FLASH, & THE BATMAN All Release Teaser Trailers During Event!

Over the weekend, DC Fandome happened and boy howdy, did the upcoming slate of films deliver!

First up we have the new teaser for THE FLASH. Andy Muschietti (Mama, IT, IT: Chapter Two) is directing The Flash for DC, and as we recently learned, the film will bring Michael Keaton‘s Batman/Bruce Wayne back to the screen.

Ezra Miller is once again playing the title character in the upcoming WB/DC movie, which will see The Flash travel back in time and “inadvertently create another universe.” The film will explore the idea of a “multiverse” existing with the DC Cinematic Universe, allowing for Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne to serve as something of a mentor to the young Barry Allen.

The Flash is currently set for release on November 4, 2022, and it’s currently in production.

Next up we have the first teaser for Black Adam starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Johnson gave a speech before the below footage was shown and proudly proclaimed “The hierarchy in the DC Universe is about to change.” He’s looking at YOU Superman.

The film is being directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, The Shallows), and is now in post-production and coming to theaters July 29, 2022.

The Invisible Man‘s Aldis Hodge costars as Hawkman, while Noah Centineo is playing Atom Smasher, Pierce Brosnan is playing Dr. Fate, and Quintessa Swindell is Cyclone.

Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani wrote the script’s most recent draft.

And finally we have the long awaited 2nd trailer for Matt Reeve’s The Batman.

The Batman will release in theaters on March 4, 2022, and you can check out today’s fresh new trailer below. It’s loaded with new footage of Robert Pattinson‘s Batman kicking ass and taking names, joining forces with Zoe Kravitz‘s Catwoman and defending Gotham City from a handful of threats including Paul Dano‘s Riddler, and Colin Farrell‘s Penguin.

There was more shown during the event but those other titles didn’t really have that dark and dreary feel as these three we just covered. Remember, we cover the Darker Side Of Pop Culture for a reason.
