Final Trailer For Jordan Peele's 'NOPE' Promises One Thing: It's Not What You Think...
As we promised yesterday, the final trailer for Jordan Peele’s ‘NOPE’ has just landed and it provides even more footage than before and gives hints at where the story is headed.
Even with this new 3 minute trailer, it’s hard to pin point EXACTLY what the film is about but it does guarantee us, it’s not what you think.
All we do know is that the main actors in the film who are Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer‘s characters are hoping to make it big by capturing “undeniable proof of aliens on camera.”
Watch the Nope final trailer below, along with a modified international trailer!
Universal will be releasing Nope in theaters on July 22, 2022. The film is being referred to in official press materials as “a new pop nightmare” and “an expansive horror epic.”
In the film, “Residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.”
Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out) will be reteaming with Peele on the mysterious movie, with the cast also including Steven Yeun (“The Walking Dead,” Mayhem) and Keke Palmer (“Scream”). Michael Wincott (The Crow), Barbie Ferreira and Brandon Perea also star.
Nope is part of a “five-year exclusive production partnership” Universal Pictures inked with Peele and his Monkeypaw Productions, and it’s been described as a “horror event.” Mind you, anything from Peele at this point is instantly an event, but we can probably expect Nope to be Peele’s biggest movie to date, with an announced IMAX optimization. On that note, the film’s cinematographer is Hoyte van Hoytema, whose previous work includes Let the Right One In, Spectre, and the Christopher Nolan films Interstellar, Dunkirk, and Tenet.
