FKA TWIGS JOINING BILL SKARSGARD IN REBOOT OF ‘THE CROW’
British singer-songwriter, FKA Twigs, will join Bill Skarsgård in Rupert Sanders upcoming reboot of the supernatural revenge thriller, THE CROW, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Twigs will play the girlfriend/fiancée to Skarsgård’s protagonist Eric Draven, originally portrayed by the late Brandon Lee in the 1994 film, THE CROW. The reboot was only just recently confirmed to be in development, after years of other iterations and rumors of remakes (one of which even saw Jason Momoa as the lead character in test footage).
The original 1994 film was based off the 1980’s James O’Barr indie comic that told the story of a man and his fiancée who are assaulted and killed by a gang, after the couple’s car breaks down. The man, Eric Draven, is then resurrected by a crow and proceeds to exact vengeance on those who took his life and the life of his love.
The reboot is due to begin shooting in June, with production to take place in both Munich and Prague.
