Hulu's 'HELLRAISER Set For Blu-Ray Release In The UK

Now before you Yanks get your knickers in a twist, we do not have any news on a physical release for David Bruckner‘s Hellraiser here in the states. Bummer.

For our friends across the pond though, they’ll be happy to know that we have learned the film will get an official blu-ray release on March 27, 2023. As always, you’ll be able to watch the disc here in the States but you’ll need a Region Free DVD player first.

David Bruckner (The Night House), who helmed Netflix’s The Ritual, directed the relaunch of the Hellraiser franchise for Spyglass Media, which was a Hulu feature film written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski (SiREN, Super Dark Times, The Night House).

The project was originally described as a “loyal, yet evolved re-imagining of Clive Barker’s 1987 horror classic,” and Clive Barker himself was on board as a producer on the film.

The ensemble cast includes Odessa A’zion (“Fam,” “Grand Army”), Adam Faison (“Everything’s Gonna Be Okay,” “Yes Day”), Drew Starkey (“Outer Banks,” “The Devil All the Time”), Brandon Flynn (“Ratched,” “13 Reasons Why”), Aoife Hinds (“The Long Call,” “Normal People”), Jason Liles (“Stereoscope,” “Rampage”), Yinka Olorunnife (“The Transporter”), Selina Lo (“Boss Level,” “Q8 Unleashed”), Zachary Hing (“Halo”), Kit Clarke (“Leonardo”), with Goran Visnjic (“The Boys,” “Timeless”) and Hiam Abbass (“Succession,” “Blade Runner 2049”).

Jamie Clayton (“Sense8”) took center stage as the brand new Hell Priest.
