HORROR ICON STUDDED SLASHER, ‘FILM FIEND’ WRAPS, TO RELEASE IN LATE 2022

Director Michael S. Rodriguez has wrapped production on his latest indie slasher project, FILM FIEND, which will likely release in late 2022.

The film stars a host of iconic horror legends, including Golden Globe™ winner Sally Kirkland (Fatal Games, The Haunted, The Way We Were), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp franchise, Victor Crowley, Terrifier 2), Sparkle Soojian (The Dead Rose), Dawn Lee Heising (Bad President, Mob Humor), Lisa London (Quarantine Girl, Choke), and many more.

FILM FIEND Tells the story of Dara (Soojian), a late night horror hostess that is stalked by a crazed classic horror film fan who enjoys dispatching his victims in a similar manner as the movies Dara hosts. Things hit too close to home as members of Dara's show begin dropping like flies, with the killer planning to make Dara the final girl. Or does he?

The film was penned by Lee Turner (After Hours Cinema and Fear Flix) and produced by Joseph Kelby Williamson (Apex Predators).
