"INHUMAN KISS 2: THE LAST BREATH" (2023) Brings Southeast Asian Folk Horror To North America (TRAILER)
Folk horror is by nature a diverse sub-genre as it dabbles in a worldly collection of traditions, tales, and creatures. For those not well-versed in some of the Asian folk horror creatures, let us introduce you to the Krause, one of the most disturbing supernatural entities we’ve come across. Represented as a female spirit that presents as a floating decapitated head with the internal organs of the body hanging below as it floats towards those it comes after. It’s a horrifying image and has been the subject of films in the “All The Haunts Be Ours Vol.2 “ set from Severin Films (read our review) and even in an episode of the Shudder “Creepshow” series. Now, North American audiences get another chance to engage with the nightmare fuel that is the Krause in One Tree Entertainment’s “Inhuman Kiss 2: The Last Breath.”
