MacabreDaily Chats with Supervising Sound Editor, Ethan Beigel!
While film and television are visual mediums, the element of sound is essential for every single film made today (unless you’re making completely silent films). Have you ever wondered how all of the sounds you hear in a movie come together? Or what goes into creating the sounds that help create the world in which a film inhabits? Well, if you are even marginally curious about the above then you should absolutely watch our interview with supervising sound editor, ETHAN BEIGEL.
Ethan has over 190 IMDB credits to his name and has worked on independent horror films like MALEVOLENCE to big-budget blockbusters like THE BLACK DAHLIA. Most recently, Ethan completed work on HBO MAX’s MINX and we were fortunate enough to spend some time talking with Ethan about his unique role in the industry, how he got into it, and what goes into creating the sounds you hear in your favorite film and/or television shows!
You can follow Ethan on Twitter at @highfiveaudio, and we hope you enjoy this interesting and fun conversation!
