New Teaser Trailer For "ALIEN: EARTH" Crash Lands Online

FX and HULU are getting ready for one hell of a series when “ALIEN: EARTH” crash lands on both streamers later this year. In anticipation of the series premiere, a new teaser trailer has dropped that focuses on a pesky stowaway that could make Earth a very scary place if left unchecked. That plus more details below.

Even though, as of this writing, there is no official release date for Noah Hawley’s (“Fargo,” “Legion”) upcoming Alien series, “ALIEN: EARTH” that does not mean we don’t have a teaser trailer to tide you over while you wait. We have very little as well in regards to the show’s plot but have found this description via the series IMDB page:

“When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a motley group of tactical soldiers stumble upon a shocking discovery that puts them face-to-face with humanity’s greatest threat.”

By the looks of the trailer, we can tell that a Xenomorph infestation is imminent for our little blue planet and all hell is going to break loose when it lands. We’re eager to see where the Weyland-Yutani Corporation falls into the story as they are the “big bad” for most of the Alien franchise. The series could give us great insight into the universe that the Alien thrives in. The cast for ALIEN: EARTH is very impressive and diverse and features Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille and Moe Bar-El.

Comics and novelizations based on the Alien franchise are all over the place when it comes to storytelling so the powers that be have a lot to choose from when bringing these classic sci-fi monsters to the small screen.

Watching the trailer above, you can tell the production crew are fans of the franchise as you barrel through various hallways and catwalks that have been featured in every Alien film to date. Take a close look, you’ll hear and see many familiar items and sounds that for sure give us goosebumps with excitement!
