Nicholas Hoult In Talks To Join Robert Eggers Upcoming 'NOSFERATU' Remake

 

Word has come to us that Nicholas Hoult, who is already set to star in the upcoming Dracula flick, Renfield, may be joining another vamp happy film in Robert Eggers recently announced Nosferatu. This according to Deadline today, with the site reporting that Hoult is “in negotiations” to join the upcoming remake of the horror classic.

“It is unknown who Hoult will be playing,” Deadline notes.

Bill Skarsgard and Lily-Rose Depp recently came on board the ship as well, with Robert Eggers planning to make Nosferatu as his next movie for Focus Features.

We do know that Skarsgard is repordtly playing Nosferatu/Count Orlock for the film.

Deadline’s report indicates, “In the new reimagining, the pic is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman (Depp) in 19th century Germany and the ancient Transylvanian vampire (Skarsgard) who stalks her, bringing untold horror with him.”

Eggers (The Witch, The Northman) is directing and he also wrote the script.
