Paul Feig’s ‘The School for Good and Evil’ Opens Its Doors This October [Trailer]

Soman Chainani’s debut novel The School for Good and Evil was published back in 2013 and is now getting a full adaptation from director Paul Feig (Ghostbusters) and Netflix come October and we have your first look at the flick below.

Netflix has finally announced a premiere date for the movie, with The School for Good and Evil set to open its doors on October 19, 2022.

Demi Isaac Oviawe is Anadil, Kaitlyn Akinpelumi is Dot, and Freya Theodora Parks is Hester in Feig’s The School for Good and Evil. Watch the previously released teaser below.

“Best friends Sophie and Agatha find themselves on opposing sides of an epic battle when they’re swept away into an enchanted school where aspiring heroes and villains are trained to protect the balance between Good and Evil.”

Charlize Theron will play Lady Lesso and Kerry Washington will play Professor Dovey in the film, with the cast also including Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Yeoh and Sophia Anne Caruso.

Plus Sofia Wylie, Jamie Flatters, Kit Young, Patti LuPone, Rachel Bloom, Peter Serafinowicz, Rob Delaney, Mark Heap, and the voice of Cate Blanchett as “The Storian.”

David Magee and Paul Feig wrote the screenplay.
