Of all the remakes that have come and are yet to come, none has been more mysterious than the New Line Cinema’s ISalem’s Lot remake. Just a few weeks ago on Macabre Monthly, we heard from Paul Drechsler-Martell about his work on the film and he teased how gnarly the vampire makeup is. Now, it seems there is some hope as to when and where we may finally get to see this remake.

Logline: Author Ben Mears returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.

Cast: Lewis Pullman as Ben Mears, Alfre Woodard as Dr. Cody, Makenzie Leigh as Susan Norton, Bill Camp as Matthew Burke, Spencer Treat Clark as Mike Ryerson, Pilou Asbæk as Straker, and John Benjamin Hickey as Father Callahan.
