SDCC 2024: FX Showcasing "American Horror Story" and "What We Do In The Shadows" With Immersive Offsite
For as many years as we can remember, FX has always made sure that their offsite experiences during San Diego Comic-Con are top-notch, must-see/experience-driven fun and it looks like 2024 will be no different as the network has a few tricks up their sleeves for fans.
The activation will be on the Hilton Bayfront lawn as it has been for many years so this is no surprise to SDCC goers. FX is bringing its new show ‘THE BEAR’ to SDCC with a pop-up restaurant for folks to try some good eats but where’s the horror you ask?
Never fear as our friends over at SDCC Unofficial Blog found out the following: Attendees will also be able to visit What We Do in the Shadows‘ Vampire Residence on Staten Island for a spooky photo op at the mansion, complete with props from the series. Since this will be the final season of WWDITS, we have high hopes that FX will go big for this year’s SDCC.
Another aspect of this outside activation is of course American Horror Story. Now FX has had the rights to the series for the last 12 seasons and fans can experience every shocking moment as they ride the HELLEVATOR. If that’s not enough, fans will get a special sneak peek of Ryan Murphy’s new show, Grotesquerie, which is set to premiere sometime this fall.
The offsite will be open
Thursday, July 25 11am-6pm
Friday, July 26 10am-6pm
Saturday, July 27 10am-6pm
Sunday, July 28 11am-4pm
Please note: You Must Be 18+ for many of these activation’s.
