Special Features Revealed For Scream Factory's 4K of 'THE FUNHOUSE'!

One Scream Factory’s first ever blu-ray releases was Tobe Hooper’s 1980 slasher film THE FUNHOUSE.  Now they’re re-releasing the cult classic on 4K UHD for the first time with a slew of brand-new special features on September 6th!  Still no interview from Dean Koontz for the handful of you who want it.

Not only does the film sport a 4K scan of the original camera negative and all the previous special features, but there are new interviews and even a new audio commentary.  Pre-orders are available now for a September 6 release.  Just in time for Halloween.

On her first date with Buzz (Cooper Huckabee, True Blood), Amy (Elizabeth Berridge, Amadeus) disobeys her father and goes to the carnival with Richie (Miles Chapin, Hair) and Liz (Largo Woodruff), but their first date may end up as their last. After witnessing a murder, the four terrified teens are trapped in the maze of the funhouse and stalked by a real monster, a horribly deformed killer who lurks among the freakish exhibits to butcher them one by one. The film also stars Sylvia Miles (Midnight Cowboy) and Kevin Conway (in three roles). Featuring special makeup designs by Academy Award®-winner Rick Baker (An American Werewolf In London, Ed Wood).
