Storm Reid Set To Go To Battle Against Valak In 'THE NUN 2'

The next chapter in the Conjuring Universe is set to be ‘The Nun 2’. So far we have word that  Michael Chaves (The Curse of La Llorona, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) is taking over as director and Bonnie Aarons will be back, again playing the demon known as Valak, the evening though, THR reports that Storm Reid (“Euphoria”) has been set to lead the cast of the upcoming sequel.

The Nun 2 will arrive in theaters on September 8, 2023.

Here is the early plot synopsis for the film: 1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit THE NUN follows SISTER IRENE as she once again comes face to face with the demonic force VALAK – THE DEMON NUN.”

We’ll see if the sequel scares up the numbers the original NUN did at the box office and we do mean “scare up” because it pulled in a very hefty $342 Million at the box office.
