Terror Films Releasing Launches Streaming Platform, THE TERROR CHANNEL!

It’s a great age to be a horror fan, mainly due to modern technology and streaming services. Streaming services have changed the game for horror fans by giving us access to an absurd amount of movies and TV shows, from old classics to new international hits, as well as weird indie stuff that was hard to find. As horror fans, we should not forget about all the original content from platforms like Shudder, Netflix, and Hulu. They’ve made horror even more special with exclusive releases and anthology series that are just for us horror lovers. Streaming services have created a whole new world of horror fandom where we can discover, chat about, and appreciate our favorite spooky stuff like never before.

Recently we here at Macabre Daily checked out WiFi, got blanket to get cozy during the winter season and fired up the TV to explore the news of a band new horror streaming services for Terror Films Releasing for the final Friday the 13th of 2024.

From the Press Release

Home to popular, award-winning indie horror films such as, “The Taking of Deborah Logan”, the “Hell House LLC” Franchise, “Savageland”, the “10/31 Anthology” Franchise, “Inner Demon”, “The House on Pine Street” and many more. Terror Films Releasing is officially launching The Terror Channel, their fully monetized AVOD platform on YouTube.

TFR originally launched the channel in 2022 as The Terror Films Channel, dedicated specifically to films under their distribution banner. With just over 2,000 subscribers at the time, the channel currently boasts nearly 65,000 authentic, engaged subscribers, and continues to grow. TFR CEO Joe Dain recently stated in a press release from TFR saying:

“In this increasingly saturated digital market, we have been able to build and maintain an established and trusted brand in the indie horror distribution space. By opening up our channel as an accessible platform to indie filmmakers far and wide, it’s not only a way for us to continue to grow the TFR brand, but also for horror filmmakers to benefit from our strategic marketing. Not only will you see some of the best indie horror films available, but you will be helping to support indie filmmakers with the revenue earned from commercials”

TFR recently announced a triple release set for the last Friday the 13th of 2024, which include Nicholas Tana’s “Hell’s Kitty”, Joel Stern’s “Bored Games”, and Kevin Savo’s “ReRouting”. As part of The Terror Channel’s official launch, all 3 films will premiere, back-to-back on the channel on 12/13/24. All of the premieres will be commercial free with a live chat that includes the filmmakers and cast.
