‘THE MUNSTERS’ MOVIE WILL PREMIERE SEPT 27TH ON BLU-RAY AND DIGITAL AHEAD OF NETFLIX RELEASE
A peek at the collector’s Blu-ray edition of Rob Zombie’s upcoming THE MUNSTERS movie.
Wake Grandpa, because Rob Zombie’s upcoming THE MUNSTERS reboot will first be available on Blu-ray and digital on September 27, 2022, ahead of its release on Netflix later in the year.
In addition to the premiere date news, a new MUNSTERS trailer was also released, which horror fans noted looked markedly higher quality than the first trailer.
The digital, Blu-ray, and DVD releases will include over an hour of Collector’s Edition bonus content, including behind-the-scenes footage with Zombie and the cast, as well as feature commentary by Zombie.
The film, based on the ’60s black-and-white sitcom, which follows a family of monsters who relocate from Transylvania to the American suburbs, stars Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster and Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa. Returning from the original cast are Butch Patrick and Pat Priest. Cassandra Peterson (aka Elvira) will also be making an appearance in the film as real estate agent Barbara Carr.
Zombie, known best for HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVILS REJECTS, has confirmed that the film would be a family-friendly affair and will be rated PG.
