'TRICK 'R TREAT' Coming To Theaters For The First Time EVER This Halloween Season!

Back in 2006, if you watched the flick ‘300’ in theaters, you would have saw a trailer for the now Halloween classic, ‘TRICK ‘R TREAT.’ At the time, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures really didn’t know what to do with director Michael Dougherty’s love letter to Halloween. The film never received a theatrical release and ultimately didn’t get a home release until 2009!

15 years later, Trick ‘R Treat is a Halloween season must see for many horror fans and who could blame them? The film is top notch and has one of the sickest werewolf transformation scenes in modern cinema. Sam has of course become a bona fide horror icon to say the least and the fan base is as rabid as those werewolves we just mentioned. But the original movie is coming to theaters this Halloween, we’ve learned today, the film’s first ever theatrical run in wide release!

The official WB Classic Films Twitter account has announced today that “Trick ‘r Treat is coming to theaters this fall for the first time EVER,” alongside The Lost Boys and other fan favs!

According to Regal’s website, Trick ‘r Treat will be playing in theaters on Thursday, October 6, so be sure to head over there to check for locations and grab your tickets.

Trick ‘r Treat features five interwoven stories that occur on Halloween…

“An everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband; and a mean old man meets his match with the demonic, supernatural trick-or-treater whose name is Sam.”

This will be your first and perhaps ONLY chance to catch the film in theaters. You do NOT wanna miss this.
