The official trailer for A24’s upcoming new film, MEN, starring Academy Award® nominee Jessie Buckley, and written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Alex Garland has dropped, and if the trailer is any indication, audiences can expect another eerie and visually arresting tale from Garland, whose past credits include Ex Machina and Annihilation.

The story follows Harper (Jessie Buckley) who retreats to the picturesque English countryside on her own, hoping to have found a place to heal after a personal tragedy. But her dreams of peace and quiet are thwarted when she begins to be stalked by someone or something from the surrounding woods. What begins as uneasy dread, soon becomes a full-fledged nightmare, one inhabited by her darkest memories and fears.

The film also stars Rory Kinnear (Penny Dreadful, No Time to Die) and Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You, The Lazarus Project) and will be released in theaters May 20, 2022.
