Activision Working Towards A CALL OF DUTY Crossover With KING KONG And GODZILLA?!

This news is for sure coming from left field but it seems that Call Of Duty: Warzone will be getting a few BIG visitors.

According to Xfire, Activision is potentially planning on having the King Kong and Godzilla arrive for events in Warzone later this year, in addition to “more spectacular global in-game events” planned.

Xfire states that they were provided with images from a now-deleted Twitter account. Among the images were “King Kong swatting a WW2 plane out of the sky whilst soldiers aimed rifles at him in the distance” and “Godzilla destroying troops below with a bright blue beam”.

Granted, these images were concept art, but the noteworthy aspect of these images was that they were alongside Warzone Season 2 images. Season 2 of Warzone kicked off on February 14th, if you’re wondering.

According to the article, Activision has “bold plans” for Warzone, comparing Epic Games’ Fortnite and its approach to in-game events.

This could all just be a red-haring for what is to come.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
