An Aussie Halloween with QUIZarena

As Halloween draws near, we’re all preparing to celebrate the spooky season in style.

But with the pandemic still effecting a lot of the world, Halloween for many is greatly restricted, and in some cases, even cancelled.

Enter Richard Lovegrove, host of the interactive Australian horror movie quiz show, QUIZarena, to bring some Halloween fun to the masses by teaming up with past QUIZarena special guests (including yours truly) to take on a virtual escape room which will be streamed live on YouTube on Sunday evening at 7:30PM Australian Eastern Daylight Time (That’s 1:30AM Sunday for those living in Los Angeles).

This special event will see Steve Maresca, Ant Yee, Robert Woods, Vincent Parfitt, Richard Lovegrove, and, well, me trying to solve the mystery of the Underground Murder.

But what is the Underground Murder? The story begins one morning when a young man left for work to meet his colleagues at the metro station as he always did. They claim that he was acting unusual the morning of the accident, then without a word, he suddenly turned and ran from the train. With contradicting eyewitness reports, no one can give a positive account of the incident. It is unclear what truly happened at first glance, but they all have one thing in common: witnesses stated that he simply fell to his death. 

Participants watching from the comfort of their living rooms, beds, bathrooms, or wherever you watch YouTube clips from, can help solve clues for a chance to win prizes, including a chance at a virtual escape room of your own thanks to Virtual Escaping.
