"Good Morning From Gotham City": Matt Reeves Shares New Image From 'THE BATMAN'
One film we have been eager for is Matt Reeve’s take on the Dark Knight, The Batman. Now many people were upset with the casting of Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman. We have faith this film will knock everybody on their fandom asses though and Pattinson will give a stellar performance. Don’t base your judgment of his acting solely on Twilight, trust us, the kid is good. Speaking of Fandom, DC Fandom is coming up on October 16th and we are getting reports that a brand new trailer for “The Batman” will be revealed during the event.
In anticipation for this new trailer, Reeve’s has sent out a new image of The Batman overlooking Gotham City as day breaks.
The Batman will release in theaters on March 4, 2022.
The film has faced both production stoppages and release date delays due to the ongoing pandemic, and had been originally scheduled to be released on June 25th, 2021.
The film stars Paul Dano as Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as Penguin, and John Turturro as Carmine Falcone. Jayme Lawson and Peter Sarsgaard will also star.
