GOTHAM KNIGHTS Teasers Reveal Creepy Tone For Upcoming Game!
GOTHAM KNIGHTS is set for a big reveal this upcoming weekend during DC Fandom. The game is slated for release on all major consoles(PS4,PS5, XBOX One) as well as PC.
As far as the games release date goes, we know it will be heading your way in 2022 but besides that, no major date or even month has been revealed. WB Games Montreal has been hyping up the appearance all month over on Twitter with a variety of teasers, which are steadily getting creepier and creepier, leading to many fans wondering just how creepy the final product will be. We have always hoped for a straight up Horror related Batman title, could this game be THE ONE?
The teasers in question are found below and give off a very unsettling tone for sure but what else are they hiding? The big bads of this game are the infamous Court Of Owls. Don’t know them? Well, let’s just say, they like kidnapping kids and training them to be killers (Black Widow better watch her back).
Here’s a rundown of the basic plot for the game:
Gotham Knights is a brand-new open-world, third-person action RPG featuring the Batman Family as players step into the roles of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin, a new guard of trained DC Super Heroes who must rise up as the protectors of Gotham City in the wake of Batman's death," reads an official pitch of the game. "An expansive, criminal underworld has swept through the streets of Gotham, and it is now up to these new heroes to protect the city, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. Players must save Gotham from descent into chaos and reinvent themselves into their own version of the Dark Knight."
