Halloween Horror Nights Celebrates The 50th Anniversary Of "THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE"

Halloween Horror Nights

B.B.Q will be served up at Halloween Horror Nights this year as Universal Studios Hollywood are bringing “THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE LEGACY OF LEATHERFACE” back to HHN and we have all the info for you below.

Universal Hollywood will be celebrating, Tobe Hooper’s, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s 50th anniversary this year with this new announcement of an all-encompassing haunted house. Think of it as a history lesson in Leatherface and his family, The Sawyers.

What sticks out is that this new house for HHN will feature EVERY iteration of Leatherface there has ever been! That’s right, nine different versions of Leatherface will be featured in this new house for HHN 2024. The YouTube channel FIVE FIRES has the full panel that was held during Midsummer Scream over the weekend. The panel was hosted by Universal Creative Director, John Murdy and you can check that out below.

The Hollywood HHN Instagram page sums up the new house this way:

“Leatherface and his cannibalistic kin will lure you into their gore-filled slaughterhouse. Fall victim to a gruesome original story never seen on screen in honor of the 1974 movie’s 50th anniversary.”

We also can confirm that the house will be based on slaughterhouses of the turn of the century and we all know how brutal those places can be. John Murdy has done a TCM house every four years for HHN and like clockwork, this new house falls in line with his pattern perfectly. Many had speculated we’d be getting a TCM house again but not many had figured it would be this year.

We know, for a fact, that this year will sell out so get your tickets for Universal Hollywood or Universal Orland at the links.

Stay here for all things Halloween Horror Nights.

The slaughter begins on Friday, August 30 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 5 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
