JOE BOB & DARCY THE MAIL GIRL Stop By Macabre Daily To Celebrate 6 seasons of THE LAST DRIVE-IN! (INTERVIEW)

Hey everybody, have you heard the news?! Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy The Mail Girl are hosting a Nightmareathon on Shudder this Friday August 30, 2024 to celebrate 6 years and 6 seasons of The Last Drive-In with 6 special movies. For all you religious folk out there, grab your crucifixes because this 666 celebration is in honor of a favorite in the horror community for decades. Like many horror fans, a lot of us here at Macabre Daily grew up with Joe Bob watching him on The Movie Channel (RIP) to MonsterVision, and now on Shudder. Joining Joe Bob when he began his tenure on the streaming service is none other than Darcy the Mail Girl, now a staple on Friday nights and a fan favorite who is always engaging with folks online and in-person.

If you can’t tell, we are HUGE fans of Joe Bob and Darcy, and so we lept at the opportunity to grab our Cracker Barrel cup and settle in for a 10-minute audio conversation with the two hosts. In only a short time, we cover why the drive-in will never die, a moment to remember involving Nekromantix, and a whole heap of gratitude for the undeniable mark both have made on the horror community as a whole. Make sure to tune-in to Shudder on Friday, and if you can’t make it live, the entire Nightmareathon will be available to stream on September 1, 2024 on the Shudder app!
