John Gulager & Efren Ramirez Talk About Resurrecting Revenge In "SEVEN CEMETERIES" (INTERVIEW)

Akira Kurosawa’s seminal work, “Seven Samurai” is easily one of the most influential films of all time. It is so influential, that you may not even realize how many derivatives there are of it out there. From “The Magnificent Seven” to “A Bug’s Life” the storytelling framework, plot points, and emotional story have all been lifted and used as a reference point in many works of film both within and outside of genre work. To some extent, that was the foundational inspiration for the upcoming Horror Comedy, “Seven Cemeteries” which will be out in theaters, on-demand, and digital on October 11, 2024!

Director John Gulager and Actor Efren Ramirez who plays the hopelessly dead romantic “Miguel” spoke with us here at Macabre Daily about “Seven Cemeteries”. Check out our interview below, and make sure to check your local listings to see if “Seven Cemeteries” is playing in a theater near you!
