Macabre Daily Speaks With The Cast & Crew Of "UNSPEAKABLE: BEYOND THE WALL OF SLEEP" (INTERVIEW)

To make a movie is in part a miracle, and it is almost always done with some heavy amount of collaboration. People behind and in-front of the camera play a part in curating the kind of entertainment we indulge in regularly, and the end result is often the byproduct of many contributions rather than just one. Without the editor, we may not have as tight a story on screen. Without the actors, we don’t have anyone to watch perform, and without a director, there is no vision to guide the different moving parts into one horrifying whole. It’s part of the reason why some filmmakers we speak to often have the same collaborators or partners they work with over the years because you can build a strong, working relationship that drives the right kind of creative output. Chad Ferrin knows this well, which is why some of the faces in his latest film, “Unspeakable: Beyond the Wall of Sleep,” which is out NOW from Breaking Glass Pictures, are people you’ve likely seen in some of his prior films.

Chad took some time to speak with us here at Macabre Daily about his latest production, the downside of streaming for filmmakers, and some of the interesting ideas he has in the works for the rest of 2025 and beyond. We also spent some time speaking to cast members Bai Ling, Robert Miano, Ginger Lynn Allen, and Susan Priver.
