Universal and Blumhouse Bring "THE WOMAN IN THE YARD" (2025) Home To Blu-Ray This May!

Grief and trauma are the new zombies of the horror genre, and that’s not entirely a bad thing. While the 2010s seemed to proliferated with zombies due to the craze of AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” the genre has changed since the dawn of 2020, and we aren’t just talking about the horrors of a global pandemic. While mental health and horror have always been great neighbors, the themes of trauma, loss, and grieving have become far more pronounced in our horror diet. Case in point, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse’s most recent theatrical release, The Woman in the Yard.”

After its theatrical run and varying reviews, the film is heading home to Blu-Ray on May 27, 2025, and hitting digital VOD today, April 15, 2025. Check out all the details from the press release below, and we hope to bring you our review of the film as it gets closer to a physical release!

With the woman continually creeping closer, Ramona must protect her children from the chilling grasp of this haunting entity whose unknown intentions are anything but peaceful.
