Monica Bellucci Reportedly Playing Beetlejuice’s Wife in Tim Burton’s 'BEETLEJUICE 2'

Casting is well underway for ‘Beetlejuice 2’ now that the news broke that the film was actually happening and Tim Burton is on the hunt for some A class stars for his return to the land of the dead.

THR reports today that Monica Bellucci (Irreversible) has joined the cast. She’ll be playing Beetlejuice’s wife!

Warner Bros. has announced that the sequel is coming to theaters on September 6, 2024.

Jenna Ortega (“Wednesday,” Scream VI) is joining Michael Keaton in the long-awaited sequel, with Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara also returning.

We have no word yet on plot details other than Jenna Ortega will be playing Liday Deetz’s daughter in the film.

Justin Theroux has also joined the cast of Beetlejuice 2, we recently learned, with frequent Burton collaborator Danny Elfman coming back to compose the film’s score.
