Nick Frost Drives The Horrifying "BLACK CAB" (2024) Home To Blu-Ray This April!

When you hear the name Nick Frost, you immediately think of either the counterpart to Simon Pegg or you’re trying to think of names for future Mortal Kombat fighters. If you’re in the former camp, then this news is for you as Frost turns his talents away from hilarity and towards horror in “Black Cab.”

The film was originally released last year on Shudder and is now making its way to Blu-Ray courtesy of Acorn Media International. The film received middling reviews from critics and many were quick to point out how diabolical Frost is in the role so if you’re keen to see an actor take a dark turn, consider this added to your watch list. After an awkward date, Anne (Karlsen) and her controlling, abusive fiancé (Luke Norris–Poldark) hail a taxi, but it quickly dawns on them that they’ve picked the wrong ride, as their night goes from bad to terrifying...

Brutally abducted and tied up, the couple are at the mercy of their captor, and with their destination unknown, things become even more frightening as ghostly visions of a woman appear to torment them. As secrets are revealed about Anne’s past, Ian’s true motive starts to become clear.
