PAPER CUTS: Corey Farrenkopf Taps Into Climate Nightmares In "HAUNTED ECOLOGIES" (INTERVIEW)
Author Corey Farrenkopf has much to say about the current state of our ecology. Still, instead of beating his head against the wall, or screaming into the void, he let 15 delightfully creepy, incredibly well-written short stories do all the talking for him. Each of the tales in “Haunted Ecologies” illustrates our perilous relationship with nature, and the world around us we so badly take for granted. Far from coming off as finger pointing or preaching, Corey uses the tried and true formula, perfected by the likes of Poe, Twain, and Blackwood, to let the tale do the talking for him, and talk they do! We sat down with him to find out about the inspirations for this collection, his start in horror literature, our fragile relationship with nature, and so much more. We hope you enjoy this chat as much as we did.
You can purchase “Haunted Ecologies” at Journalstone, Amazon, and Bookshop.org.
