Pedro Pascal Teases When 'THE LAST OF US' Season 2 Will Begin Filming

Season 1 of ‘THE LAST OF US’ hasn’t even come to an end and the talks about season 2 are already in full swing. We do know that with the first season re-telling much of the first game, the second season will likely dive headlong into the second games story.

Even though season 2 may be a long time away from arriving on HBO MAX for the masses to devour, the ideas and even start of what will become season 2 have already started.

When speaking with Collider, Pedro Pascal was asked about the chances of The Last of Us season 2 filming this year. Without giving anything away, the actor does tease us a bit with what lies ahead by giving a wink an a nod to the writing process already beginning in 2023 for next season.

"In the year 2023?" asked Pascal. "Oh, what season are we in now? We're getting into spring? Yes, there is a chance. Yes." 

Pascal is a very busy guy as of late with the Mandalorian as well as The Last Of Us on his plate, we hope this indicates we’ll get that season 2 sooner than later.
