'SALEM'S LOT' Remake Adds John Benjamin Hickey To Cast!

James Wan is producing a new take on Stephen King’s Vampire epic, Salem’s Lot. Joining Wan in this flick as director is Gary Dauberman (It, The Nun, Annabelle Comes Home). Deadline reports today that John Benjamin Hickey (Tranformers: Revenge of The Fallen) has been added to the cast as Father Callahan!

The film is slated for a September 9th release in 2022.

“In Salem’s Lot, author Ben Mears (Lewis Pullman) returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.”

The known cast at this time also includes Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Spencer Treat Clark, Alfred Woodward, William Sadler, and Pilou Asbæk.
