Season 3 Trailer For "THE WITCHER" Teases Henry Cavill's Final Monster Hunting Quest

Season 3 of Netflix’s ‘THE WITCHER’ will premier this Summer with Henry Cavill (Geralt of Rivia), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer of Vengerberg), and Freya Allan (Princess Cirilla of Cintra) all returning for the next chapter in the monster-slaying saga adapted from the hit video game franchise.

We’ve learned today that Season 3: Volume 1 will premiere June 29, followed by Volume 2 on July 27.

Volume 1 of “The Witcher” Season 3 will include episodes 1-5 and will be released globally on June 29 and Volume 2 will include episodes 6-8, released July 27.

In “The Witcher” Season 3…

“As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hopes to discover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is the showrunner and executive producer. Season 3 directors include Stephen Surjik, Gandja Monteiro, Loni Peristere, and Bola Ogun
