Steve "UNCLE CREEPY" Barton Talks Horror, Writing, His Life, and George Romero. (INTERVIEW)
How do we not make this weird with what we’re about to say? Steve “Uncle Creepy” Barton is our horror crush. Okay, now it’s weird, but that’s okay because we’re sticking to it. Steve is one of the nicest people you’ll ever encounter in this wild, wonderful world of horror. Please, don’t take our word for it. Check out his incredible memoir, “A Comedy of Tragedies,” to get a better look at the life of a man who has overcome numerous obstacles and come out better for it. A fascinating, hysterical look at the life of a man who made horror his calling and all the amazing stories that come with it. We sat down to chat about how the book came to be, his process, the ups and downs of a career in horror, and the amazing friendships he’s made along the way, specifically with George Romero. Steve is an absolute delight; we know you’ll enjoy this as much as we did.
