TALK TO ME, PEARL, And Others Take Home Saturn Awards!

Awards season is upon us, and for most genre fans that means another year when some of the best films in horror, sci-fi, and fantasy are forgotten about. The good news is that The Saturn Awards have been picking up the pieces that Hollywood left behind for over 50 years, and giving awards to the genre films that often don’t get the major awards recognition they rightfully deserve. For the 51st Awards ceremony, there was more blending of the mainstream into the program, but that didn’t keep some of 2023’s best genre films from getting some love.

Of note, this year is Talk To Me which took home the "Best Horror Movie” award, and Pearl which took home the “Best Independent Film” award. In addition, Netflix’s Wednesday, MAX’s The Last Of Us, and Marvel’s Werewolf by Night all took home awards in their respective categories. Check out the full list of winners here!
