Two Years Later, CUCKOO Finally Gets A Permanent Release Date

Anyone in the film industry will tell you that time is both the friend and enemy of filmmakers. Sometimes production cycles can take years to eventually churn out a product (like Freddy Vs. Jason) and other times it seems like things are getting fast-tracked and probably should be given more time to bake. Nevertheless, patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait, which seems to be the case for NEON’s Cuckoo. Two years after its initial announcement and tentative release, the film finally has a concrete release date.

The horror film starring Euphoria'‘s Hunter Schafer and Dan Stevens (The Guest) is written and directed by Tilman Singer whose previous film, Luz, was a hit on Shudder. There aren’t many details about the film as of yet, but what we can say with some level of assuredness is that the film will hit theaters on May 3, 2024.
