'THE EVIL DEAD' And 'EVIL DEAD II' Getting Double Disc 4K Ultra HD Release In November
We let you know back in September that Lionsgate would be releasing the “Groovy Collection” for the Evil Dead franchise in 4K that included the first two films as well as Ash vs. Evil Dead the complete series. If that’s a bit too much Ash for you (how could it be though?) We have just learned that ‘The Evil Dead’ and ‘Evil Dead II’ will be getting a double feature 4k release on November 1st.
You can pre-order your copy from Amazon today.
In The Evil Dead (1981), which introduced the world to Ash Williams, “Five friends travel to a cabin in the woods, where they unknowingly release flesh-possessing demons.”
Bruce Campbell‘s Ash returned and truly became a horror icon in Evil Dead II (1987). In Sam Raimi’s sequel, “The lone survivor of an onslaught of flesh-possessing spirits holes up in a cabin with a group of strangers while the demons continue their attack.”
We’ll have more regarding this release soon.
