This January, Locksmithing Turns Violent In "NIGHT CALL" (TRAILER)

One of the things we are most proud of here at Macabre Daily is our broad and diverse coverage of genre film. Yes, we tend to favor films more on the horror side of the spectrum, but we would be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge (again) how much adjacency there is amongst genres. This allows us to not just bring you a wide range of movie news, but also make sure that films that fall just outside of that target also get your attention as well. One such film is “Night Call” from Magnolia Pictures and MAGNET Releasing headed to theaters on January 17, 2025!

Synopsis

One evening, Mady –a young student by day, locksmith by night– receives an emergency call from Claire to open a lock. But the door the young woman wants to open isn’t hers, and the bag she runs away with isn’t hers either. It belongs to Yannick, a vicious mobster who blames Mady and will stop at nothing to retrieve his stolen goods. Mady has only one night to prove his innocence and save his neck. What started out as an ordinary night shift turns into a brutal descent into violence. NIGHT CALL is a no-holds-barred crime thriller that ambitiously combines genres, from film noir to action-packed survival.
