Underwater Horror Game 'BENEATH' Releases Official Trailer

Let’s face it, we need some more underwater horror games to play and the folks over at Camel 101 just added a new title to that short list with the game, ‘Beneath’. It’s a first person shooter but has the callings of Resident Evil written all over it. The game will drop on PlayStation 5, Xbox One Series and PC via Steam in 2024.

Full plot details have not surfaced as of yet but the basics for Beneath see you play as veteran deep-sea diver Noah Quinn, who after discovering a complex of five underwater science stations, finds something in that complex beyond imagination. Faced with no viable escape, Quinn must take it upon himself to try and stop whatever it is that’s looking to break out and escape to the surface.

If that wasn’t enough, throughout all of this, you’ll also have to contend with Quinn’s mental state. On the brink of collapse, you’ll have to avoid succumbing to madness if you ever hope to reach the surface again.

Camel 101 also touts Beneath as having “adaptive enemy AI, destructible environment and customizable weapons”. You’ll also be able to take advantage of your diving suit, using it to explore the ocean floor and the underwater stations.
