Yep, this indeed did happen back in 2010 when Betty White hosted SNL.

After the entire cast sang "Thank You For Being A Friend" to her, she got up and did her own DEATH METAL version of the song.

Sadly, Betty White passed away just two weeks shy of her 100th birthday (January 17th) and everyone from Horror fan to regular folk love her and we for one miss her already. Here’s to you Betty, raise those horns!
