“What We Do in the Shadows” Season 5 Trailer Drops Our Favorite Vampires Off At The Mall

Are you ready for Hot Vampire Summer? Lord knows we are and FX’s “WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS” has just unleashed the teaser trailer for season 5 of the hit horror comedy series.

“What We Do in the Shadows” Season Five premieres July 13, 2023 on FX!

Season Five’s fresh new episodes will also be available next day on Hulu.

The series picks up after “Nandor feels his familiar (and sometimes friend) Guillermo slipping away as he seems to be spending much more time with Laszlo. Nadja, suffering the effects of a previously-undiagnosed supernatural hex, reconnects with her family — or at least, a family — from the Old Country. Colin pursues the path of so many energy vampires before him by running for political office and The Guide tries to figure out where she fits in as the relative newcomer to this tightly-knit group.”

More than just the usual shenanigans, Guillermo continues his journey toward vampirism in a suitably hysterical way, judging by the trailer below. From the start, Nandor’s familiar has longed to become a vampire. The new trailer below comically reinforces the notion to be careful what you wish for.

It’s only the start; “What We Do in the Shadows” was previously renewed for seasons five and six. So we have at least one more season of vampire craziness to entertain us.

Based on the feature film by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, the series documents the nightly exploits of vampire roommates Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) as they navigate the modern world of Staten Island with the help of their human familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén).

Clement ad Waititi executive produce, along with Paul Simms, Sam Johnson, Garrett Basch, and Eli Bush. FX Production produces.
