Year-Round Haunt "UNIVERSAL HORROR UNLEASHED" Gears Up For Las Vegas Opening In August

Las Vegas is about to get even hotter as Universal Studios has just announced even more details for their new, year-round, horror attraction, “Universal Horror Unleashed” and has revealed when you can visit the massive event. All that and more are below!
Universal is set to terrify “Sin City” like never before when Universal Horror Unleashed opens its doors in Las Vegas on August 14th, 2025. Universal announced the news earlier today, ramping up anticipation for the spine-chilling attraction that has every horror fan excitedly giddy. For fans of Halloween Horror Nights, this is going to be your chance to experience HHN year-round.
At launch, guests will be able to explore four haunted houses, each inspired by iconic horror franchises: Universal Monsters, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Exorcist: Believer, and Scarecrow: The Reaping. But that’s just the beginning—expect an immersive experience filled with roaming scare actors, interactive elements, themed merchandise, and eerie food offerings, ensuring that every visitor stays on edge from start to finish.

Watching the hype video above, we can’t help but be stoked for what Universal Horror Unleashed will reveal and if the words of Creative Director, John Murdy ring true: “When fans enter Universal Horror Unleashed…they will enter a new world unlike anything they have seen before.” We know Murdy and his crew don’t skimp on the scares so if he says to get ready for an awesome event, you can take his word for it.
Creators of HHN and the folks from Universal Destinations & Experiences announced Universal Horror Unleashed back in 2023 and we have been eagerly awaiting all news regarding this new year-round haunt. With the attraction being only 10 minutes away from the Las Vegas strip, Universal Horror Unleashed is sure to be a “must-see” themed event.
Tickets for Universal Horror Unleashed are on sale now, with general admission starting at $69 ($59 for Nevada residents) and unlimited access for $99.
