"LITTLE BITES" (2024) Has Krsy Fox And Spider One Unpacking The Horrors Of Parenting (INTERVIEW)

Being a parent is hard, particularly in our current social and political climate. The idea of bringing life into the world is something that some folks are drawn to, while others are discouraged by. The responsibility of being a parent isn’t one to take lightly either, as you not only have the future of another person in your care but also have to find ways to care for yourself in the process. The horrors of child-rearing are not new to genre films, from “It’s Alive” to “The Babadook” there are many examples of how parenting can be a courageous act as much as a terrifying one, which is part of what Writer/Director Spider One and Actor/Producer Krsy Fox are going for in “Little Bites.”

We reviewed the film last year after it had a smashing run on the festival circuit, and were fortunate enough to speak with Fox and Spider about the film before it heads to Shudder on February 21, 2025.
