APRIL IS FOR (HORROR) APPRECIATION: WEEK 2
Here at Macabre Daily, we firmly believe in propping up the horror community whenever we can. With so much great (and not so great) content out there, it can be quite overwhelming to find a podcast or YouTube channel that fits each of our own unique preferences. With algorithms constantly changing, new social media apps appearing, and only a finite amount of time in the day to consume it all we wanted to shine a proverbial light on some content creators in the horror space that deserve your attention!
Each Friday throughout April, we will be featuring a few content creators, some of whom are part of our Macabre Daily staff, and if you have a podcast or YouTube channel that you think our viewer’s horror-loving hearts would enjoy, please contact @macabre_matty on Instagram.

Episodes to Get Started With: Ahead of the release of HALLOWEEN KILLS in 2021, I went through the entire Halloween timeline in order, culminating in a roundtable discussion of HALLOWEEN KILLS with several members of the MacabreDaily staff (link). It was a lot of research and time but was a satisfying accomplishment and really fun to do. Weirdly, some of my top episodes are the ones that were the most painful to sit through, such THE SNOWMAN (2017) and SS EXPERIMENT LOVE CAMP (1976), which just goes to show you that people love to listen to you talk about a film that they love, but sometimes they love listening to you talk about a movie you hate even more. Call it the car crash effect.
