ARMY OF THE DEAD Sequel Looks To Be Confirmed As Huge Deal Struck Between Snyder and Netflix
Zach Snyder has a way with zombies. He did an amazing job with the remake of Dawn Of The Dead and then came to us with Army of The Dead most recently via Netflix. Now it’s looking like a sequel to the aforementioned film is in development…or at least the money is moving in that direction.
Over 75 million Netflix accounts watched Army Of The Dead in it’s first month on the streaming service, with that we are now hearing The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that The Stone Quarry Productions, the banner overseen by Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, and Wesley Coller, has signed a two-year first-look movie deal with the streaming service.
The trade also confirms that he's set to develop an Army of the Dead sequel with the first movie's co-writer, Shay Hatten.
This has us intrigued as to where Snyder and Netflix may go next but in the mean time, zombies rule the land and we hope we get a Army Of The Dead II sooner than later.
